사실 시리니님 블로그를 몇번 지나쳤었던 기억이 있습니다. 한두어번은 몇가지 관심 키워드를 검색 하면서 스쳐 지나갔구요, 그 이후에는 또 몇번의 지나침으로 인연인가? 혹시 이것이 특별한 의미인가 생각해 보기 시작 했습니다. 특별한 의미란 것은 우연이 아닌 필연의 의미인가 뭐 그런거죠^^ 사실 세이하쿠는 이렇게 미신적인 부분에 민감해서 .... 이것이 혹시 하나님의 의도라면? 뭐 이런 생각을 해 보거든요. 한번 보고 두번 보고 우연이건 필연이건 서너번 더 보게 되고 기억에 남게 되고 이끌림이 생기고 뭔가 논리적이지 못한 감정들이 뒤 섞이면 그것이 주체할수 없는 열망이 되더군요.
네이트온에 친구등록을 하고 바로 메신저를 통해 이야기를 나누게 되었습니다. 사실 별로 말할게 없었지만 뭐 보고 싶다. 이야기 하고 싶다. 꿈을 위해 최선을 다하자(이건 둘 공통의 주제이기도 했었습니다^^) 그리고 마지막에 형님으로 모시겠습니다(ㅋㅋㅋ^^)로 끝났지만 정말 오랜만에 나눈 경상도식 대화였습니다. 일단 맘을 열어 놓고 서로 알아가는게 경상도식이라서 그만큼 상처도 많이 받지만 진정성이 담보된 방법이기도 하죠^^
시리니님을 만나기 위해 부산에 한번 내려갈 생각입니다. 서울로 한번 와도 좋겠지만 제가 부산에 내려가는 것이 시리니님에게 진정성이 있게 보일 것 같아서 입니다. 한번 보고 싶고 이야기 나누고 싶다는 것, 그것만이 중요한 것이죠. 하여간 저 먼 바닷가에 얼굴 한번도 못본 멋진 동생이 생긴 날입니다. 자축하고 싶습니다.

Others nearly beat him to it. As early as 1872, German chemist Adolf Von Baeyer was investigating the recalcitrant residue that gathered in the bottom of glass-ware that had been host to reactions be-tween phenol (a turpentine-like solvent dis-tilled from coal tar, which the gas-lighting industry produced in bulk) and formalde-hyde (an embalming fluid distilled from wood alcohol). Von Baeyer set his sights on new synthetic dyes, however, not insulators. To him, the ugly, insoluble gunk in his glassware was a sign of a dead end.
To Baekeland and others aiming to find commercial opportunities in the nascent electrical industry, that gunk was a signpost pointing toward something great. The chal-lenge for Baekeland and his rivals was to find some set of conditions----some slippery ratio of ingredients and heat and pressure that would yield a more workable, shellac-like substance. Ideally it would be some-thing that would dissolve in solvents to make insulating varnishes and yet be as moldable as rubber.

Born in New Market, Ontario, Canada on January 17th, 1962 to a working class family, growing up poor was tough for young Jim Carrey, While in his teens, he had to take a job as a janitor when his father lost his job and he had to juggle both School and work. School eventually lost out and he dropped out. He describes himself as being very angry at this time in his life, yet one good thing came out of it. He developed a tremendous sense of humour to help him cope and to shield his anger from the world.
